Udaya Special School

Sisters run a special school for differently-abled children at Dhanuvachapuram in Thiruvananthapuram District, attached to the Dhanuvachapuram convent. The building has been renovated and a new school bus bought; the school is now recognised by the government.

Today 45 children receive every kind of assistance here, with special training in yoga, dance and craft work — and financial help in times of need.

St. Joseph Balabhavan & Balikabhavan

Two homes for tribal children at Marayoor — St. Joseph Balabhavan for boys and St. Joseph Balikabhavan for girls. Today 44 boys and 40 girls live here.

We aim at the integral development of tribal children through quality education, good food and loving care.

Karuna Bhavan

Msgr. Joseph Kuzhinjalil Memorial Home — a home for mentally ill women. Many aged people in our areas live in poverty and neglect, considered a burden by their families, and some are forced to leave home and roam the streets.

Karuna Bhavan offers them love, care and compassion. 35 residents live here today.

Girls’ Hostel & Alphonsa Balika Bhavan

St. Chrysostom’s Girls’ Hostel is home to 65 students from economically backward families, who receive care, timely support, counselling and financial aid.

Alphonsa Balika Bhavan, attached to the Nellimoodu convent, looks after poor girls who have no guardian to care for them.

Mission Outreach in Andhra

At our mission in Perali, Bapatla, sisters engage in the evangelization ministry among the poor and non-Christians, and accompany local women through tailoring training and health awareness programmes.
